Today we're looking at the Black Ops 6 Season 01 Reloaded release date and other details. Black Ops 6 will be getting a fresh batch of content with the mid-season update that brings new weapons, perks, and the annual CODMAS holiday event.
Season 01 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone is well underway but as always you can expect a Season 01 Reloaded update soon. Treyarch has announced a ton of content you can expect to dive into when the update releases in early December.
Black Ops 6 Season 01 Reloaded Release Date
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 01 Reloaded arrives on Thursday, December 5. Treyarch confirmed the date through a teaser for the brand-new Citadelle Des Morts zombies map that comes with the update.
This came as a pleasant surprise to Call of Duty fans as it was expected to release a week later on December 12.
New Weapons
Season 01 Reloaded will see three brand-new weapons added to the multiplayer, zombies, and Warzone. You can expect to see a new shotgun, sniper rifle, and a melee weapon when the update goes live.
Maelstrom (Shotgun)
AMR Mod 4 (Sniper Rifle)
Clever (Melee Weapon)
All three brand-new weapons will be unlocked by completing in-game challenges.
The Maelstrom is a fully automatic shotgun designed to excel in close-quarters combat but is less effective at longer distances. Despite its low damage per shot, its rapid fire rate compensates adequately.
The Barrett .50 Cal sniper rifle makes a comeback as the AMR Mod 4, boasting a "one-shot kill to the torso, arms, hands, and upper legs." Despite being semi-automatic with a slow rate of fire and significant recoil, it is expected to dominate at ranges up to 100 meters.
New Multiplayer Maps
Season 01 Reloaded will introduce three new maps to the Black Ops 6 map rotation. Two of these new maps are remasters of classic Black Ops maps and one is a brand-new Strike map.
Hacienda (6v6)
Racket (2v2, 6v6)
Nuketown Holiday (6v6)

Black Ops 4's Hacienda receives a remastered version in Season 1 Reloaded, transporting players to the beloved vineyard map from the game's 2018 release. Meanwhile, Racket emerges as the newest Strike map, where players battle within the confines of an underground bank vault.
Nuketown receives a festive makeover for the holiday season, complete with snow-covered grounds, snowmen, Christmas lights, and additional decorations. The developers have announced that they will "add a little something to the original Nuketown map with this update... and perhaps to the Warhead Strike map as well."
New Perk and Wildcard
Shrapnel Radar Perk
High Roller Wildcard
The Shrapnel Radar Perk, categorized as Recon, marks any enemy struck by your Tacticals, Lethals, and Field Upgrades on your minimap. Additionally, with the arrival of Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded, the High Roller Wildcard grants the ability to equip a fourth Scorestreak to acquire during a match.
CODMAS Holiday Event Returns
Call of Duty is celebrating the festive season with the return of CODMAS, featuring the Nuketown Holiday variant, limited-time modes (LTMs), and "a variety of gifts" in the days leading up to the event.
A Zombies-focused event is expected to take place mid-season, likely in celebration of the new Citadelle des Morts map's debut.

More details on the BO6 Zombies updates will be available "in early December." However, Season 1 Reloaded is set to deliver the most substantial content update since the game's release. The upcoming Citadelle des Morts map continues the Terminus Main Quest narrative, transporting players to a deserted castle filled with "ghoulish horrors," an ancient village, and additional features.
