An Call of Duty x Squid Game crossover is coming in early 2025 to celebrate the release of the popular Netflix shows second season that is scheduled for release the day after Christmas.
Squid Game 2 will release on Netflix on December 26 and it will pick up where we left off with Gi-hun, or player 456 as he is also known, returning to the deadly games with one goal in mind: to end the horrifying competition once and for all.
But before he does, the Squid Games characters are visiting Call of Duty players in an exclusive crossover event expected to release in January 2025.
The official announcement was made by the Call of Duty X (formerly Twitter) account on December 2, 2024. You can check out the official teaser down below.
As for an event is anyone's guess. There will likely be something where players can unlock exclusive rewards in a Squid Game themed LTM to coincide with the release of some Squid Game bundles in the Black Ops 6 and Warzone Store.
We aren't entirely sure what to expect from this bundle as not much was shown in the teaser. We can probably expect Squid Game themed Operator Skins like the vibrant jumpsuits with a variety of masks. As well as themed Calling Cards, Emblems, and other cosmetic items.
