Delta Force is out now and it is free-to-play, but it is currently only available on PC. It is available to download for zero cash on both via either Steam and the Epic Game Store on PC. This highly anticipated first-person shooter comes with two key modes for players to sink time into.

It has previously had several Alpha and Technical tests that allowed players to get hands on with the game early but all progress made during these tests was wiped. Delta Force is now technically in Open Beta but all experience, ranks, levels, weapon unlocks, everything, will remain unlocked for the player. No more wipes.
Currently, you can choose to put your time into either Warfare or Operations. Warfare is clearly heavily inspired by the Battlefield franchise as it offers giant map warfare against other real players, utilizing tanks, planes, and helicopters to ramp up the combat chaos.

Whilst Operations is the games attempt at an extraction mode in a similar vain to Escape from Tarkov and Call of Duty's DMZ, although, it is much more like the latter as it isn't as hardcore as EFT. Players infil to Ashara in the hopes of finding loot, fighting off AI and other real players before (hopefully) exfiling with the goods.
A fully fledged Black Hawk Down remaster is planned for the Campaign, which will release sometime in January, 2025. Although, this section of the game will not be free to play.
It has already gained 1673 reviews on Steam but is currently 'Mixed' with some players seemingly unhappy with the installation of the games anti-cheat at a kernel level. Reportedly, uninstalling the game does not remove this either.
If you are looking to download and play Delta Force over the weekend it is worth noting that the game size is around 63GB on Steam.
