Elon Musk plans to launch an AI Game Studio as "too many game studios are owned by massive corporations" and hopes to "Make Games Great Again".
The tech billionaire hopes to make games great again, stating that too many game studios are now massive corporations, so he is setting out to make his own massive corporation video game studio.
What this AI studio might look like or the type of video games that will be produced as a result remains unclear but in recent years we have seen a huge spike in studios and other gaming companies turn to AI to increase productivity and reduce costs by laying off staff.
Elon is reportedly no stranger to gaming. He has mentioned in previous interviews that he is an avid gamer in his spare time choosing to play games such as Overwatch and more recently Diablo IV.
In fact, the Tesla, SpaceX, and X owner recently revealed that he was now somehow a top 20 Diablo IV player despite running multiple billion-dollar companies.
It is unclear if this statement was made as a joke or if he is indeed being genuine. He has made several statements in the passed that many shrugged off as a joke but ultimately became a reality like his insanely popular flamethrower and the purchasing of X itself.
In short, we wouldn't put it passed him.
