EA has announced that it will launch its biggest ever playtest in an effort to avoid past mistakes from the franchise.
This playtest will give players the opportunity to provide feedback, validate the future of Battlefield, and have a direct and lasting impact on the next generation of Battlefield games. Battlefield Studio's have been collecting and condensing player feedback, bringing it into the development cycle, and now they are ready to expand on it.

Battlefield labs is a place for Battlefield Studios to test concepts and experiences they are planning to share with players. Battlefield Labs will give players the chance to experience nearly almost every aspect of the next Battlefield game.

You can sign up to be considered to join the Battlefield Labs playtests here Battlefield Labs – Electronic Arts. So far over 1.3 million players have signed up via the website in the hopes of gaining access and giving Battlefield Labs their valued feedback.
Battlefield Labs Limitations
As we said, over a million people have already signed up via the Battlefield Labs portal, with only a few thousand being selected to take part in the first wave of playtests from Europe and North America. More players and regions will be added later so signing up is still worth your time, if you want to get hands on with the next Battlefield game before it launches in 2026.

When will Battlefield 6 Launch?
The next Battlefield game is expected to launch before March 31st, 2026 based on previous investor calls and other details online. This is, as always, subject to change, should the game need more development time.
